    Analog-Digital-Failure Mechanisms

  • The SPP 1500 Mini-Workshop on Analog-Digital-Failure Mechanisms takes place on June 9th, 2011, in Frankfurt, Germany. The workshop will start at 10:30am and end at 5:00pm.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss which types of failures for analog and digital hardware components exist. Furthermore, subject of discussions will be how these failures affect the system and how they can be detected, handled, resolved or avoided.

    We propose the following:

    1. Types of failures for analog and digital hardware components
    2. Failure mechanisms to asdress the types of failures and resolve or avoid them
    3. Finding a common ground to join forces for our project.

If you are interested in presenting, please let us know a preliminary title until the 18th of May so we can finalize the agenda. Contact Julius von Rosen (vonrosen@em.cs.uni-frankfurt.de) for details.
